BrandScape identified that whilst Boots is seen as a healthcare business

in the UK, this perception is not shared in the rest of Europe. Consequently, the Boots own label products needed to be represented and repositioned for France, Spain, Portugal, and beyond.

Action Research revealed that although virtually unknown as a consumer brand in Europe, Boots Healthcare International had developed equity and heritage with pharmacists in key markets. By leveraging the science behind the products, it was possible to create a new specialist ‘laboratory’ brand proposition which would resonate well with pharmacists and consumers alike.
